Experience 2 – 5 years (Full time)

Looking for skilled Quality Assurance (QA) engineers to scale our team. Successful candidates will be directly assigned to a long-running Agile team to support the roadmap of an ASX-listed Australian Fintech company. Tech team is based in SL and working SL office hours. Reporting to overseas project leadership, candidates are expected to have professional conduct and sound communication skills. Opportunity is to be a part of an agile team with a project roadmap exceeding the next 5 years, functioning as an extension of a billion-dollar Australian company innovating in the Fintech space.

Location: Colombo or work from home

Technical

Professional QA experience in testing Java-based applications and familiar with SDLC principles Experience in quality assurance focused on security and vulnerability-free applications is desired Understanding of security practices and principles focusing on API testing and deployment validation, Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify mission-critical issues such as performance and scalability defects.

TechStack

Java 11 and Serverless architecture with AWS Lambda Step Functions Practical experience in testing for common security vulnerabilities (OWASP top 10) AWS Gateway, SecretsManager, EKS, ECS, API Gateway, Lambda, Step functions, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, CDK, ECS, CLI, IAM, EC2, KMS, WAF, Cloud Watch, CodeArtifact, CodeBuild, CodeCommit Automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Postman) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for quality gates.
